Teen rappers are on the rise. Haleek Maul, a young emcee from Barbados, has released his latest EP, Oxyconteen, for free. The darkness of the project will inevitably draw comparisons to OFWGKTA, but such comparisons should be taken lightly. Haleek is much more mature and focused than those playfully vicious wolf cubs. This EP has about as much black humor as a Pixar film. Featuring production from Supreme Cuts and The-Drum, two emerging producer pairs from Chicago, Oxyconteen will definitely keep you occupied/haunted for the next few days.
