There just aren’t enough projects in hip-hop like Tuesday’s re-release of MF Doom‘s classic debut album, Operation: Doomsday. The package, available from all-world label Stones Throw, encases four LP records (the original album remastered, the album with alternate production, the original instrumentals, and an album of B-sides) in a fierce metal box donning the iconic Doom mask. Throw in a deck of Operation: Doomsday cards and a lyric book and you have the full means to enjoy what is, even 12 years in, one of the most unique albums in hip-hop history. Time to get your Christmas list going?
