The long-awaited debut album from Spanish Harlem rapper Bodega Bamz is finally here. The Tan Boy’s newest project, Sidewalk Exec is a true representation of NYC. Featuring Joell Ortiz, Flatbush Zombies, and the late, A$AP Yams, it’s clear the New New York rapper wanted to let the Big Apple’s presence be known in the music game. Spanish Harlem rapper Bodega Bamz has teamed up with with director Guy Blelloch to create his new short film, The Streets Owe Me. The NYC street-based film follows a storyline of, “betrayal, choices in life; and earning a shot at redemption.” With Cipha Sounds, Joell Ortiz, and of course, Ohla making appearances, fans are sure to be held over until the release of Bamz’s latest project, Sidewalk Exec on April 14.

Usually when you think of the TANBOYS, Bodega BAMZ is the only name that comes to mind. Willie Hex is the one of the more quiet members, but that is set to change with his upcoming work. His new video seems like it is heavily inspired by DMX‘s Flesh Of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood album artwork. It’s real gritty but honestly, what else would you expect from the TANBOYS? The startling visuals are directed by OHLA.
