Hailing from Minnesota, by way of Liberia, Monroe Dunbar JR. Is better known as OG Grip. The oldest of ten children, Grip starting writing lyrics in his notebook at the young age of 9. He became a student of the game and made a name for himself in Minnesota, with his deep voice and gritty lyrics, winning local talent shows and rap battles. As he grew to understand the music industry he chose to create his own label, UnstableIntellect.

He has performed along side and collaborated with such notable acts like DJ Quick, Nelly and the legendary Scarface. He is bringing heat on his new project Linchpin releasing this summer. This buzz record “Yeah Buddy” gives his audience a taste of what’s to come.
