Following a successful run with his #W4NGWEDNESDAYS series, Houston’s OG Che$$ delivers a new project in Golden Hour EP. The five track release finds him linking up with LLiiVV and  ChrisxRose for production.

After a short smooth intro that doesn’t feature any rapping, Che$$ gets to the action, providing listeners with his signature sound on the trunk rattling “TrapAmerikano,” “O’Lordy,” and “Timeless.” On the other hand, he experiments on “Blessings,” utilizing a heavy dose of Auto-Tune to croon over a mesmerizing backing that comes at the hands of LLiiVV.

After scattered releases throughout 2014, OG Che$$ is back in go mode and plans on providing fans with new material every week as part of his #W4NGWEDMESDAYS series. For this week’s release he drops off a hard-hitting banger titled,“Flee” that features haunting production by in-house producer LiveWize. There’s plenty of evidence in the Texas representative’s catalogue that he can handle any type of production, but his best offerings tend to be ones that see him attacking booming backings like this. Expect more material like this to appear on his forthcoming March release, Knightfall.
