With new R&B taking over the sound of today, Chicago singer, Energe, takes a twist and adds his own flavor to the new R&B sound. I’m very critical when it comes to hearing new music, I believe music has to catch you in the first 15-20 seconds or else you can add it to the trash bin. Energe has caught me off graud, and I now have a new artist to add to my favorite’s playlist. “Occupied” says; “You and money occupy my mind baby/ I think about you both like all the time baby/one over the other I can never choose”… “I could never really choose/all I truly know is I don’t want to be without either of you”.

I know that each person who tunes into this song will take a huge liking to it, “Occupied” talks about what we have on our mind everyday but never really talk about (I know I do). I’ve showed my mom this track and she loves it already (my mom is from the old school), so I know you’ll love it. I’ve literally run this song back three times already and I know it word for word.
