I’m committed to making music because it’s the only thing that has consistently kept me happy and fed my soul. Growing up I did various sports and activities but writing poetry evolved to writing raps and I fell in love.

My streaming numbers grew extensively from any other year prior and that makes me proud because that means people are actually starting to listen to what I have to say and I’m not just getting acknowledged for my looks.

Music is the most ideal thing in the entire universe when you’re going through stuff good or bad and want to feel/vent but don’t necessarily want to be around anyone. Music can change your mood or help you get through some unexplainable emotions. That’s why I don’t only write from my point of view I listen to friends and family and address issues the everyday woman may be going through.

I told my director that it was super important to be BIG AND BLACK! I think he did an excellent job in directing that narrative.

When I’m the object of conversation good or bad because either way it means I’m doing exactly what I need to be doing…. Standing up and standing out.

My versatility, my true passion for the craft and my relentless fight to become a top rapper. I think today all though I’m proud of the amount and variety of women winning in hip hop there’s a few women who don’t really love this and are solely in it for the money in my opinion. Also as I said before my versatility because I can give you a twerk thot song to a strong “I can survive any storm” REAL female empowerment type anthem and I’m not afraid of playing with my voice, tone or flow.

Nicki Minaj and Jay Z. They are both Sagittarius’ and they are both from NY. I’ve watched them both and I admire their drive and talent. My delivery is very NY so I think it would sound fire.

I would like to grow my Nya Lee Waisted clothing line and my wake up sis women empowerment brand.

I’m dropping an EP this summer and a documentary really soon.
