Since his debut on Respect-Mag.com, 27 year-old emcee, Skiieezy, has been on a media roll out since. The rapper announced his new track via social media a month ago for “Crazy”. Shot in North Philadelphia, the native uses the local neighborhood to create to help manifest some of his lyrics. Out of Philadelphia have come some of hip-hop’s best rappers, no matter rank or status & 27-year-old Skiieezy is no exception. Appearing in 2008 as a battle rapper, Skiieezy is now on a mission to be your favorite emcee. Between his delivery & bars, Skiieezy has created a brand new twist on the Junior Mafia classic “Around The World.”

The Space Gang rapper, has fun over the sampled key melody. This easy-going, yet animated rapper showcases his emcee capabilities on his new song “Been Around” by Skiieezy. To see the video press play below now:

Although the seasons are cooling down, Stoneage Lexx is just heating up with his single “Summertime“. The North Philadelphia native speaks nothing but truth on the track. Lexx refers to the only life he knows and raps his plan on how to get out. The 22-year-old plans to release a mixtape EP titled Stories From the Other Side this upcoming quarter as well as live performances with Zah Garner. Check out the “Summertime“ below:

]]> asaadUpon arrival, Philly’s Silk City Diner doesn’t look the part of a underground hip hop venue. It looks like a diner. However, hiding behind the stainless steel counter tops and cushioned booths is an amazing hip hop bar and lounge where Philly’s own Asaad (Saudi Money) hosted his Flowers II album release party. With Matt Ford and Salomon Faye as opening acts, and DJ Stylo on the turntables, the event was a successful welcome back party for Asaad following his brief hiatus this summer. Judging by the polished work on Flowers II and the level of intensity he brought to the stage, Asaad is quickly becoming a must-see for Philly hip-hop fans.
