New Video: Cory Jreamz – “Nina”

Cory Jreamz may still be a little too weird for his native Houston, but he’s been gaining more ground in the UK and with videos like this it’s clear to see why. “Nina,” from his Invictus EP, continues the 19 year-old rapper’s dark imagery with compelling storytelling. The majority of the video finds Jreamz rapping to a static TV while sitting next to a dead woman. According to the rapper, his follow-up video will reveal the reason for the murder and being at the motel. Watch part of the story unfold below.

New EP: Cory Jreamz – Invictus

Cory Jreamz is still working on his upcoming Lonely Painter album, which is due out next year. Until then, the Houston rapper looks to tide fans over with Invictus. The 6-track EP features previously released tracks “Howl” and “Nina” as well as four other heavy-hitting, immersive tracks. It’s easy to describe the EP as dark, but Jreamz is doing something much more complex. Stream it below and download here.
