Following the release of Tetsuo & Youth, Lupe Fiasco decides to liberate the POINTGUARD & Larrance (of 1500 or Nothin’)  produced outtake from his unreleased Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Part 2 LP. Entitled “Atomic Misphilosophy”, the record serves as the second of a dual release from the Chicago native which also included the premiere of the Nikki Jean assisted visual for “Madonna”.

Nikki Jean links up with Donnie Trumpet and other members of the Social Experiment collective for “Rivers.” The instrument-heavy record is enhanced by Jean’s unique vocals, completing the beautiful soundscape. This one will live on her forthcoming Champagne Water EP, due out later this month.

Lupe Fiasco links back up with Nikki Jean and the two haven’t lost their chemistry that was on full display during The Cool era. Speaking of old chemistry, this one is produced by Soundtrakk. “Haile Selassie” will live on Lupe’s upcoming Lost in the Atlantic mixtape, due out soon.

Ab-Soul is continuing to build anticipation for his new album These Days, which drops on June 24.  The Black Hippy remember teams up with Chicago rapper Lupe Fiasco and Nikki Jean to bring you “World Runners.” The two have collaborated prior on “Thorns and Horns” and sonically they pair together extremely well. Both rappers provide inspiration on the Tae Beast-produced cut with the messaging stating: “Other people let the world chase them/We run the world.” So far Ab-Soul has been delivering solid singles so it will be very interesting to see how his album resonates.
