This is the lead off track to Peter Rosenberg’s up-coming mixtape, New York Renaissance. Joey Bada$$ goes in on some musica de Harry Fraud, who has been every where lately. The two definitely make a good pair, with Fraud’s somber, jazzy boom-bap being Joey’s go-to palette. For a change, we also see a hook from the Pro Era captain, which is decent, but can’t stand up to the rapid fire word play and detailed imagery, especially in the song’s opening stretch. Action Bronson teams up with one of his favorite producers, Harry Fraud, for a new track off Peter Rosenberg’s upcoming mixtape New York Renaissance. The project’s goal is to exhibit the strength of New York hip-hop right now, so naturally Bronson had to make an appearance. “Compliments To The Chef” features Action Bronson rapping in all his culinary glory over a jazzy and soulful beat.
