New Music: NEAKO x Sha Hustle – 333 Connection

NEAKO teams up with RepsUp/OVO artist and Toronto underground legend Sha Hustle for a brand new track titled “333 Connection”. The track comes off NEAKO’s new project Xanada which is set to release later this year and features a whole lot of Toronto based up and coming artists. NEAKO recently put out a brand new mixtape after awhile titled How R We Gettin High and with that he released a bonus video for his track “Sleazy”. The video sees NEAKO cooling in the sun whilst trapping out of a trailer with a girl talking about being sleazy. The video fits in with the laid back vibe of the song. Fresh Moss Drops New Mixtape – “Skinny Fresco 2”

Newark, NJ rapper Fresh Moss drops the second tape in his dedication series entitled Skinny Fresco 2. The project is a cool trap-infused soundfest that forces itself to be played in entirety. It is scant in features but the presence of Father, NEAKO and Bubba Kush is an added bonus. There is a clean, overarching feel to the sound of this project that’s been constructed by 2DZ, Lex Luger, Christian Lou, Purrp Dogg, Pac On It and Eskay. Fresh has been buzzing lately, landing a full-page feature on the Garden State’s authoritative newspaper Star-Ledger on his recent rise. Skinny Fresco 2 sounds polished but raw with no disruptive songs to break the braggadocio of Fresh Moss’ barrage of gritty, prophetic rhymes. New Music: Neako & Lex Luger – “The xanBAND” EP

Fresh off announcing a brand new project named xanLAND, Neako hits the studio with Low Pros’ Lex Luger to put together three track EP titled The xanBAND. Lex Luger was last seen when he dropped a collaborative project with A-Trak. Now both of them return with a very experimental EP. Listening to this EP is like listening to Chief Keef over some crazy production under the influence of Xanax. The drill music sound and the Chief Keef style of rap has become pretty much fashionable so we are bound to hear some of the influences here and there but all in all it is still a very original piece of work. The artwork alone speaks for itself. Stream it below because it is worth checking out.
