Most of us have 9-5’s, but we spend even more time daydreaming about something better. We appreciate our jobs. They pay the bills (especially those dreaded student loans, if you went to college). But if we could be getting paid to do what we absolutely love, it’s a no-brainer that we’d jump at the chance. Sharing that sentiment is up and coming crooner Nana B. — who has drawn comparisons to The-Dream— with his relatable new single for “10k Hours”.

Hailing from Brooklyn, by way of Columbus, Ohio, Nana B. chronicles the current journey he’s on, in terms of chasing success. From being so lost in his work that he forgets to check in with his mother at times, to expecting a child, to walking away from his job to pursue his passion, Nana B. has crafted a song that, after just one listen, you can certainly identify with.

Produced by Simon Sez, who has also worked with Lion Babe, “10k Hours”, is the follow-up single to Nana B’s previous joint, “House Party“. Both songs are set to precede the release of Nana’s forthcoming debut project, 2amCruise, which is due out later this year. Listen to “10k Hours”, below.
