Yes, we know that you can power your home via solar panels instead of traditional electricity. But can you really generate enough solar energy for eight bands to play a festival? Just ask Sunstock Solar Festival founder and executive producer Sylar Funk.

Funk spearheaded the rare event that took place on Saturday at The Autry at Griffith Park in Los Angeles and provided a stage for his band Trapdoor Social as well as Allah-Las, Wavves, Cults, Kali Kings, The Big Pink Gateway Drugs and Yoya to share their good vibes.

Food trucks, information booths from solar companies and more supported the event that drew thousands of fans who reclined on the lawn enjoyed the music.

It was no easy feat, but they pulled it off and are planning to take a variation of the show on the road.

Festival lineups might be dropping left and right, but they’re only getting better and better!

Today, the good people at Broccoli City took to Twitter to announce the lineup for its 4^th annual festival which will feature Future and Jhene Aiko as headliners! The Internet, Anderson Paak, Sango, and other upcoming artists will be performing at spring festival.

Known for its great vibe, bringing beautiful people together, and offering healthy food options to the community, Broccoli City Festival  will be returning to the Gateway DC Pavillion on April 30th.

Tickets for Broccoli City Fest start at $59 and will go on sale this Friday! The festival is even offering free tickets for those who chose to volunteer in the Power of One campaign. Checkout the entire lineup below:

It seems as though we’re in an age where Hip-Hop and EDM are somewhat synonymous with one another. With both genres increasingly blending, Trillectro was the perfect festival to showcase both sides. Artists like Dom Kennedy, Kehlani, JMSN, D.R.A.M, and Chance The Rapper shard the stage with the likes of Masego, Cashmere Cat, and RL Grime, forming an artistic bond between urban culture and electronic music. From hardcore Hip-Hop heads to wrist beads and glow sticks, Trillectro 2015 was the trillest of trill.

The final lineup for the fourth annual Budweiser Made in America festival has officially been unveiled, and Beyonce and Canada’s own The Weeknd are slated to end the night properly. It’s that moment that every Tri-State Area inhabitant has been waiting for: the announcement of the lineup for the 2015 Governors Ball! Each year, the best in the business are corralled on Randall’s  Island for three days of hot performances. This year’s lineup doesn’t disappoint. Our boy Drake will be headlining! Also on the docket are prolific producer Flying Lotus, West Coast killers Atmosphere, as well as up-and-coming British rapper Bishop Nehru.
