Being the children of immigrants can come with its fair share of complexities as one can be torn between the idea of the promises that come with living the American Dream or the desire to create and chase your own. Illustrating this concept is Houston (by way of Chicago and Nigeria) artist Lyric Michelle, with her new video for “Directions”, which features Fat Tony.

The video serves as the lead-up to Lyric’s forthcoming album, MissDirection, which is due out January 28th. Watch “Directions” above.
