As Minnesota’s own Nsikak preps his next album release, “The Lost Generation,” he takes no time off and puts on for his city in his latest video, “3ME.” With help from fellow hometown heroes Big Rece, contributing a hard verse and Angelo Bombay lending a hand on the production for the new Twin Cities anthem, Nsikak keeps it all in-house. Nsikak’s upcoming album, The Lost Generation (TLGN) is slated to drop by the end of the year.

New Music: BlaccOut Garrison- “Your Favorite”

At any given time hundreds of rappers are vying for our SoundCloud plays and mixtape downloads. It’s a crowded hip-hop scene and up-and-comers only have so many shots to catch our attention. If there’s anything you’ll remember MN native BlaccOut Garrison by, in his new track “Your Favorite”, is the catchy, rhythmic sense of delivery he incorporates in some of his bars. In the new year BlaccOut (standing for his motto “balance life and continue climbing out”) will benefit from penning lyrics that are more memorable and delving into themes that catch our attention, but his delivery is already on point. With his next releases he really does have a shot at being “your favorite” artist.
