While the hype is around about the album finally being released, Miles gives us a very bass-heavy & catchy song off of the album titled “10” , produced by IGNORVNCE, hold us over until the project is out. On top of the album and a new song, Miles also gives us the album art work for his highly anticipated No Man’s Island and it truly captures the essences of its’ name.

Amongst many rising artist and creatives a like, Miles Chancellor gives us everything that he has and more at the display of his No Mans Island album release party (December 26th 2015).

As the popular 21+ (Pub Webb) venue filled full of people and good vibes, I was graciously met with live DJ sets, merch for purchase, and of course…drink specials! Sincerely Tahj (the host) made it more than comfortable to interact with strangers and turn up to some bangin’ DJ sets from himself, QuiteHype, Sketcho, and Wavelengths, who had the whole room active from start to finish.

Marv Mack, Anyee Wright, Champs, 7Z Maxi, Corleone, and Clout (What Scene), gave more than amazing performances with a crazy surprise from crowd-surfing Ant Beale who shows up as a guest performer and turns the whole place upside down. Each of these artist put on outstanding performances and the crowd loved it.

Of course, this night went to the man of the hour, Mr. Miles Chancellor. Miles takes the stage on a very humble approach and warms us up with some words about how he is feeling tonight and how crazy it is to see a room full of “beautiful people” attentive to his word. He quickly jumps into a couple of known songs that have been garnering buzz around the city; “Heaven,” “Heatin’ Up,” and “EOTS (End of the Summer) to turn the whole venue up and word-for-word — people are reciting his lyrics. Miles also takes a couple of songs off the album and brings us in even closer to his life.

I was completely blown away at the amount of work he had and the versatility in each song — with each tune a different emotion and feeling was brought on that I’m sure each person might had felt that night. Now, you may ask why is Miles Chancellor “Heatin’ Up”? Well, I’ll interject by saying, “Listen to his music. Better yet, listen to his words”

What Scene’s own, Miles Chancellor, prepares to release his forthcoming album “No Mans Island“, but before the release — Miles has to let us know to “Be Safe“.

The 21 year old rapper has a style un-related to any of his fellow up-and-coming competition. Miles easily blends singing and rapping into beautifully orchestrated production that meshes with his artistry almost perfectly. “Be Safe” tells us a little about the story of Miles; his job, his relationships, and also the guidance he lives by. We can all have a little fun, but remember to be safe.

Philly’s underground best kept secret Miles Chancellor is back after quickly racking up 20,000 spins on Soundcloud with the Ignorance-produced track “Heaven”. Today, Miles teams up with his go to producer, again to heat the streets up with the track “Heating Up”. Over a dark beat, Miles gives you the best of both worlds with melodies, vocals, and lyrical content. Miles has a debut LP on its way, but no title or date has been released yet. Miles said in “See Me See You Too” “I got a one track mind until a f**king album finished,” so it looks like we’ll have to take it track by track until the album’s complete.
