If you haven’t heard of Mike Classic, don’t fret — you will soon enough. Having already been making waves (he appeared in the Netflix biopic Roxanne Roxanne), the Haitian-American/Queens-bred artist delivers a seven track EP titled If Only You Knew, a project fueled by everything he’s been through during his journey to success:

This EP is proof that you can create beauty out of mayhem. While going through and still going through so much in my life I still managed to do the one thing that keeps me going, create. There are so many stories that transpired just to get these seven songs out. So many situations/people that almost had me lose it all or better yet become blinded to what I’m really here for. While madness was breaking down my front door, I trusted myself to continue pushing. But… if only you knew what went down.

The track, which is produced by KAui, was released almost one year ago and went viral after Bryson Tiller posted the tune on social media. From there it was off to the races as Mike Classic eventually collaborated with the likes of French Montana and Jadakiss, while also garnering spins on New York radio stations Hot 97, Power 105 and internationally via Ebro on Beats1. Currently, “Woosah,” has garnered 1.6M streams across all platforms.
