Last year Michael Rappaport announced that he  would be directing a documentary focusing on the life and works of the groundbreaking quartet, A Tribe Called Quest. With little follow up however, hip-hop fans remained doubtful of the films release. Fortunately Rappaport managed to complete the project, and the documentary made its debut at Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, only to be met by rave reviews.The documentary will be available on limited release on July 8th, and after watching the trailer, we cannot wait to see it.
