With the April 8th release of his upcoming LP, Man About Town, fast approaching, the Michigan crooner unloads one last single, this time for the lusty “Lingerie & Candlewax”, a joint that is strictly for the sheets. Mayer Hawthorne has never been stingy with the audio dope, and this joint is no exception.

Kid Crave – “BodyHeat II “

Columbus, Ohio upstart Kid Crave continues his buzz-building run, recently announcing a collaboration project with producer Stretch of Pza Prty, titled LeftSeyed. We’ve all been in a certain capacity with the opposite, where we just wanted to shoot our shot and get to know them better. “BodyHeat II” is the relatable soundtrack to just that. LeftSeyed is scheduled for an April 2016 release.

 Taco Ve’l – “Honest”

Recently, Taco Ve’l presented his #TacoTuesday music series, which is dope and most likely means we’ll get new tunes from him every Tuesday, for the foreseeable future. This past Tuesday, Taco dropped off his latest, in the form of “Honest”, a song he explains as having a strong emphasis on being true to yourself. “I’m being completely honest with myself and the listeners with these verses I put together. I’m hoping people will hear this and be inspired to just keep it real with others at all times and also to stay true to themselves”, says Taco Ve’l.

“Red in the face, you got me blue”

That’s a line from North Carolina product Micah Williams’ newest joint, “Roses & Violets”, which is produced by Brian Do.

“Roses & Violets” is a love song; sort of. The 19 year-old emcee raps about the time when a certain someone once made him red from blushing, but then blue from sadness, in the end. However, Micah reaches a moment of clarity, realizing that he’s young and relationships will come and go.

Micah’s upcoming EP, The Wild Ones is expected to be released later this summer.

Hailing from Maryland by way of North Carolina, Micah Williams is a 19-year-old emcee who describes his sound as “alternative rap.” For his newest visual, directed by Marc E, Micah channels Andy Warhol and his classic art film, Hamburger. In addition to being a really cool clip that quite impressively recreates Warhol’s work, “The 27 Club” also gives listeners an earful, as well. Peep it down below.
