#PeepTheVisual: MF Connects With Bruno Mali on “Setbacks”

Promising Broward County lyricist, MF, returns with the visual for his brand new single titled “Setbacks.” The fresh drop features fellow South Florida artist, Bruno Mali. MF comes in with the smooth story-telling, as he takes us down memory lane and speaks on his journey thus far. Meanwhile, Bruno’s gutter hook perfectly highlights the come-up from the trenches.

Grammy-award winning producer StreetRunner, laces the duo with a crushing instrumental as usual. MF is currently gearing up for the release of a new project later this year, but no title nor date has been announced just yet.

Here’s what MF had to say about the new release;

The video was shot in the little Haiti area of Miami, Florida. I come from a Haitian background so I definitely wanted to incorporate that into the video. And much love to StreetRunner for always coming through with that heat for me!

Believe it or not, we are in the internet era where creating an online presence is mandatory to promote your brand. Many say there are not enough thought provoking MC’s looking to drive the culture forward. The new generation is head over hills with melodies, bass driven anthems, drug raps and 808s.

As of lately times are drastically changing as the demand of “mental growth” is coming back to forefront . This is where MF a true emcee from Broward County FL is taking the bull by the horns and bringing back lyrical content!

Fresh off his well received 8 track EP “America’s Angel,” MF is elevating the mind with a bar and introspective stories which one may find rare to hear in today’s music scene especially from a newcomer. Staying true to his craft studying the likes of his musical influences Jay Z, Nas, Outkast, Lil Wayne, Eyrkah Badu and many more MF is out to prove a point. The rising phenom has his eyes set on eventually joining the elite on the “Mount Rushmore” of Hip-Hop. Today, MF drops off a new visual to one of the stand of tracks on the EP, this one is sure to take you “Higher.”
