Maverick Sabre Delivers New Visual for “Glory”

Following February’s “Slow Down” with Jorja Smith, Maverick Sabre is back with a new music video for “Glory,” a homage to his Ireland bloodline — something that means even more given the current state of the country. He even relinquishes the visual to showcase other residents of the divided island, making the lyrics within the song all the more powerful.

Check out the clip for the New Machine-produced cut below, along with Maverick’s new album When I Wake Up (where the single is taken from).

Maverick Sabre & Jorja Smith Take a Ride in “Slow Down” Visual

Following last year’s collaboration “Follow The Leader” (with George The Poet), Maverick Sabre and Jorja Smith once again make beautiful music on the new single “Slow Down.” Accompanied by the Rashid Babiker-directed visual, the clip sees the two crossing paths during a taxi ride, where Maverick plays the driver.

Check it out below…the single is taken from Maverick Sabre’s forthcoming album When I Wake Up, which drops March 22nd (pre-order here).

George The Poet, Maverick Sabre & Jorja Smith Join Forces on “Follow The Leader”

Here’s a mind-blowing collaboration for your February: George The Poet (who I’ve been a massive fan of since this), the always-amazing Maverick Sabre and Jorja Smith (who is soon to be a household name thanks to Black Panther and Drake) have teamed up for the powerful new track “Follow The Leader.” The “dreamlike,” South London-shot clip that accompanies it — directed by Stephen Isaac-Wilson — comes courtesy of i-D, who explained the song:

…the three muse over how easy it is to get stuck in a continuous cycle and the importance of being accountable for your own decisions, over a minimal bouncing production. “It’s about how problems can persist and keep going around in circles because people are too scared to stand up and do their own thing,” Jorja said of the track over email.
