Up and coming singer/rapper Alexis Renee has released a fire single titled “Racks“. Hailing from, Tulsa, Oklahoma her original sound and raw talent reach an ultimate high on this release. After the passing of her mother in 2016, she took a hiatus from music only to return stronger and more vocally fierce than ever before. Her ability to mesh thought provoking lyrics with an original sound gives her an edge over the other rising acts.

On “Racks” you will hear Alexis Renee harmonizing about having a lot of dough, as her auto tuned vocals takes you on a. futuristic ride. Some notable lyrics from this release include “I been so lowkey laid out overseas counting guap with me no more cottage cheese”. Her catchy word play and creative punch lines can be heard from the opening verse to the very last bar. This song creates an infectious vibe, making you want to dance and count up your own “racks”.

One unique thing about her is that, she is mentored by legendary hitmaker Jazzy Pha. With the backing from one of music’s most influential producers she is ready to take the music industry by storm. If you think her voice sounds familiar, that is probably because she landed music placements on Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger, and Liongate’s Step Up 2: Highwater. With mainstream attention, Renee’s latest single is right on time.

Obviously, the presence of what’s contained within the trailer confirms the elephant in the room: our heroes and the unfortunate half of our planet that have vanished in Avengers: Infinity War have found their way back somehow (both Tom Holland‘s Spidey and Samuel L. Jackson‘s Nick Fury are in this clip). Also, Jake Gyllenhaal looks impressive as the presumed super-villain Mysterio.

I’m not the biggest movie buff, but you can bet that I’m going to be at the next Avengers movie when it hits theaters next April. Following Captain Marvel (if you missed that trailer, enjoy below), we’ll finally get to see what happened after Thanos snapped his fingers in Avengers: Infinity War…today, we get the trailer (above) to that very fourth installment, which is to be titled Avengers: Endgame. I’m absolutely hype.

A pilot for a live action of Marvel’s comic series Runaways has been picked up by Hulu, Hollywood Reporter discloses.

Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, the creators of Gossip Girl, have reportedly teamed up with Marvel Television in order to create the series originally written and drawn by Brian K. Vaughan, Adrian Alphona, and Takeshi Miyazawa. In it, several super powered teens are fighting to survive more than the usual adolescent angst when it comes to facing down their parents: the story of the comics follows six very different teens as they try to escape their parents’ influence after finding out that they all belong to the Pride, the secret criminal society that controls crime in Los Angeles. Afraid of what their legacy might be in the face of this revelation, they try to work to become heroes instead.

If the adaptation keeps to the original comics, this series should be a breath of fresh air when it comes to variation from the norm:

Another fan-favorite element was the diversity of the teens on the team, both in terms of outlook and gender, but also sexuality, with the group featuring LGBTQ characters (Hollywood Reporter)

While the MCU (and Hollywood in general) doesn’t have a great track record with introducing diversity among the actors casted in adaptations, even when the original works being adapted call for that diversity, it’ll be harder to squeeze out of it in this series without facing serious backlash. Marvel fans will have to wait and see if this series will live up to the high expectations that will arise as production starts.

Get ready for Marvel’s X-Men to hit television screens everywhere early 2017. FX debuted the first trailer for new series Legion at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday. FX Productions and Marvel Television bring Marvel comic character David Haller to television. Downton Abbey’s Dan Steven will play the telepathic mutant, David Haller. Cast members Jean Smart, Aubrey Plaza,Bill Irwin, and Katie Aselton are also featured. The trailer centers on David Haller as he believes to be mentally ill and suffer from some type of disorder. He has a strange encounter with a fellow patient. He believes she did something to him and that they took her. Here’s the trailer debuted at Comic-Con.

In the comics, it is known that David Haller is the son of Profesor Charles Xavier. This popular character is seen in many of the X-Men franchise films. It’s time for fans to brush up on their Marvel knowledge as they prepare to relive the Legion comics on screen.

According to Entertainment Weekly, “X-Men franchise producers Lauren Schuler Donner, Bryan Singer, and Simon Kinberg are aboard the series.” Tune in early 2017 on FX for the premiere of Legion.

The first series Stussy x Marvel The Ultimate Teamup will be released on April 27th and combines vintage Marvel characters with definitive Stussy designs. These styles feature the looks from rare and collectible comic books and posters with characters such as Wolverine, Silver Surfer, Punisher, Ghost Rider, Doctor Octopus, Doctor Doom and Captain America.

The second series Stussy x Marvel Special Edition Artist Series will be released on May 6th and features artwork by notable artists Will Sweeney, David Shrigly, Bill Plympton, Gary Panter, John K., James Jarvis, Todd James, Mister Cartoon and Noah Butkus.

There are also packs of Stussy x Marvel Trading Cards that will be included with each item purchased.
