Sporting an eye-catching, Vice City-type cover, March Davis hits the world with his new 4-track project titled Del Mar. The name roughly translates to “From Sea,” which explains the oceanic vibe listeners feel when listening to certain melodies here.

The lead single “Bout It” is masculine in nature as he asks his lady if she’s, well…’bout it’. The sweet-talking artist utilizes his hypnotic voice well. Each song is placed neatly on the playlist and is exactly where it belongs. Paired with simple-yet-smooth beats, his talent soars when he blesses the song with a vocal solo encompassing the songs. Each song comes with a shiny hook, exploring deep social subject matter very dear to the artist himself. Listen to it below:

After spending years honing his craft, Vermont native March Davis is ready for industrial-strength attention: “Bout It,” taken from his upcoming EP Del Mar, is polished enough to make any casual hip-hop fan do a double take on what is a repeat-worthy single from the hyper-aware Lebanese rapper. The track is a homage to male responsibility — clearly representing a new prototype for R&B in 2018. Listen to his debut track below:
