Harry Fraud has been producing some extreme heat lately and this track from Shabaam Sahdeeq and Eddie B continues the trend. “Born to Win”  is featured on their upcoming LP The Wolves dropping September 5th. Yesterday Maffew Ragazino put out the visuals to the first release of his upcoming Black Gold project. Skyzoo joins Ragazino Sr. for the vocals on “BK Accent,” though the production is really what sticks with you. Black Gold is due out in the Fall, but an all-Brownsville mixtape titled Never Ran Never Will is also in the works. More music is a sign of good things to come, but this will do just fine in the meantime. Be sure to check out the video below.

Aside from spitting some lyrical heat, he breaks down what his music represents, the meaning of hip-hop to him and how he’ll take Brownsville to the next level. A young hometown-obsessed rapper is a part of many today (Action Bronson, Meyhem Lauren, Roc Marciano) who stop at nothing to throw one up for their city.

Listen up NYC, Maffew Ragazino can’t be held down.  He’s been rocking the mic on the underground for a bit, but he’s ready for the hip-hop world to take notice.  Peter Rosenberg–co-host of The Cipha Sounds and Rosenberg Show on Hot 97–has taken to the airwaves to show some love for the Brooklyn spitta, but Ragazino knows his music speaks for itself.  Ragazino dropped his latest project Rhyme Pays earlier today. The album features a few previously recorded joints, but mostly boasts new music from the Brownsville-bred emcee.  Be sure to check this project out.  Another cosign doesn’t mean anything unless people take notice, and to that end, Maffew had some words for his followers on Facebook prerelease:
