EA Sports has come thru with an insatiable lineup that will get any sports fan lit during and outside of gameplay with the release of the lineup for the new Madden 19 soundtrack.

On Wednesday (Jul 25) the top sports game in the country released the official soundtrack list for the 2018-2019 season, revealing that the NFL game has secured Migos, Cardi B, A$AP Rocky, Nicki Minaj, Jay Rock and more.

To many fans, the placement of ATLiens Migos seemed like a no-brainer after Quavo was named as “The Quarterback of the Culture” on Bleacher Reports 50 Most Influential in Sports. During an interview with Billboard, Quavo explains how a by chance interaction turned into an amazing opportunity.

“I actually ran into the [President of Music] of EA [Steve Schnur] in the middle of Times Square in New York. He was like, “How would you like to work with EA and be in the new ‘Madden?'” I was like, “Shit, I would love it.” I got his information right there on the block of New York, and ever since then it was history. He texted me, “Do you remember the record that Ludacris did for Madden 2000?'” I was like, “Yeah.” That was one of my favorite songs and I remember John Madden was on the cover. The song was that good and I was trying to make a song that could possibly be a banger and a good Madden song at the same time. That’s where “They Can’t Win” came from. It was crazy.”

Quavo also dished on his favorite season of the Madden franchise and how instrumental the game was during his childhood.

“Madden 2004 with Michael Vick on the cover was my favorite. He was just unstoppable on there. It was unreal. You could just scramble with him and run for a 90-yard touchdown down the field. It was out of this world. I had them all from the ’90s through the 2000s. I’ve been an EA Sports fan ever since. I’m a sports guy and an athlete as well. I’ve been playing for a long time.”

In addition to an amazing soundtrack, the legendary game which features Pittsburgh Steelers’ Antonio Brown as the cover athlete has also0 been making quite a few changes behind the scenes.

According to Gamespot, Madden 19 is making a change to its voice acting lineup, adding former ESPN anchor Jonathan Coachman now appears to be the pregame/halftime host. In the previous Madden games, Larry Ridley covered the pregame and halftime duties.

Madden 19 launches a little earlier this year, arriving at the start of August. The game is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as PC for the first time in a decade.
