Mac Miller hasn’t really been in the rap game for very long, but he’s already undergone multiple identity changes. These changes are reflected in his music ( on Watching Movies With the Sound Off , Loaded Lux pokes fun at the changes during an interlude) – and in his lifestyle. Some of these changes were organic, occurring in response to his quickly- blooming career,  but others have been conscious, specifically his adoption of the Larry Fisherman and Larry Lovestein personas. Sitting down with HardKnock TV, Mac broke down the personas and discussed how his life has changed since the grueling Macadelic tour. He also discusses working with Ariana Grande and how having multiple identities is actually quite normal, possibly even necessary. Watch below.

Earlier today a new ad campaign for Mountain Dew featuring Lil Wayne and Mac Miller surfaced with help from a bevy of other stars. These two got together on a track for Mac’s latest project (Macadelic), so it’s good to see them continuing that partnership. It’s clear these two bring some flair to this commercial, but it remains to be seen if it’ll help sell soda. Get that paper any way you can. Be sure to check out the video below.

Over the weekend Mac Miller dropped the first set of visuals off his latest mixtape, Macadelic. “Loud” features Mac front and center, but the Pittsburgh-bred emcee decides to get a bit flashy with the help of some black lighting. It makes sense why Mac chose to drop this track first, and the video really does it justice. If you haven’t had the chance to listen to Macadelic, you better get on it. A new track from Mac Miller, “Loud,” surfaced over the weekend with an awesome beat courtesy of Big Jerm. Mac goes in on the Jerm offering, and to reiterate this beat does not disappoint. Word is this record is supposed to end up on Macadelic, but it might be a while before that project drops. Nevertheless, nothing is keeping you from enjoying some feel good rap.
