HOTO brings a hard body beat with Luu Breeze going in on the flows, making it a perfect record to heat up any type of playlist.

The video was co-directed by Joe Gunner with 88 Films as DOP. The track is co-produced by Prezident Jeff, Mike F. The Hitman and Nght Walk. It keeps up the energy of the song whilst keeping it super heated, with lots of candles in a church setting before switching to snow and mink coats. As Toronto native Rich Kidd tells it, “we’ve got two seasons up here; winter and July.” Though it’s not July quite yet, it looks like Rich Kidd is ready to heat things up early. The rapper-producer (…or is that producer-rapper?) who’s collaborated with a slew of talented artists including Raekwon, Chase N. Cashe, and Talib Kweli, recently offered up a hearty sample of his newest project, In My Opinion.

To ring in the release of his free 19-track album, Rich Kidd and a handful of talented Canucks celebrated  at Toronto’s Wrongbar. Of course, RESPECT. was there to document the night’s proceedings.

Raz Fresco and The6thLetter

Young Raz Fresco and his Baker’s Club brethren, The6thLetter, helped set the tone for the night by weaving through old favorites and freestyles. They graciously even performed samples from the forthcoming project, PABLO/FRESCOBAR.

The Airplane Boys

The Airplane Boys also rolled through to perform Beau Monde. Coming from the same end of the city, one of the few things better than catching one of their live performances has been watching their craft progress over the years. This duo’s unique flow and style make them a standout act in any country. Just ask all the freckle-faced twenty-somethings that saw them at Coachella last year.

A-Game

A-Game and Luu Breeze also came through. It was all love.

Capping the night with a rowdy performance of his new single “SYKE,” the multi-talented musician took his music straight to the fans.

In the end, in addition to being an All-Canadian party animal, Rich Kidd has an amazing stage presence that’s magnified by his stadium-ready music. Toronto producer Burd & Keyz drops the video for “Faithful” off his Keyz of Life project. The record features Toronto artists Luu Breeze and A-Game, who are twins (the former appeared on Game’s The R.E.D. Album) and Jahron B. Just like the whole story behind the mixtape — Keyz died so Burd dedicated two years of his life crafting and combining old and new songs to make a tribute and introduction to Burd & Keyz — the “Faithful” video is a heart-wrenching affair. No one likes to see death, and you can really feel the spirit behind this one. Much respect goes out to Burd for the work he’s put in the last two years. His hard work and tears have clearly resulted in something positive and triumphant.

Luu Breeze drops the video accompaniment to “Bin Laden”, produced by Burd & Keyz. Joe Gunner TV directs the vid, and by all means it’s a creepy one. Creepy is good these days however, and Breeze nails it with the Bin Laden mask.

Toronto producer Burd & Keyz drops the latest single from his upcoming Keyz of Life project. Luu Breeze, who worked with Game for The R.E.D. Album (albeit uncredited), jumps on the track, as well as A-Game, Jahron B., and OVOXO producer T-Minus, who just so happened to produce the hottest track of the summer with “I’m On One”.

Be on the lookout for Keyz of Life to drop sometime in mid-November.
