Today, The Breakfast Club released their interview with veteran MC, Ludacris. The Disturbing tha Peace co-founder dropped by The Breakfast Club to promote his new album, Ludaversal and film, Fast & Furious 7. During his visit, he also talked about taking five years to drop a new album, his decision on getting married, and more. On the new album, he tells us that it’s a perfect combination of the old Luda and the new Luda. “It’s back to rapping…you can listen from beginning to the end,” he explained.

Later in the interview, Ludacris openly talked about inadvertently messing around with Drake’s girl. As the discussion focused on previous tensions between the two, Luda shared how Aubrey got upset when his former girlfriend was listening to Ludacris’ music adding, “His girl, at the time, with all due respect was probably doing a little bit more than that.” In clarifying the situation, he then claimed, “There was a chick in Toronto, at the time, I didn’t even know she was — I didn’t know what was going on. I did not know that she was Drake’s girl, that’s what it comes down to.”

When co-host Angela Yee asked Ludacris how he felt about being judged by the media, he answered that he was simply entertained by listening to the “false information” being reported and said he “absolutely loves it.” “Let people judge you based on things that are not true…myself, my wife, and God know the truth,” says Luda. The Furious 7 actor also talks about the death of his close friend Paul Walker and marrying wife Eudoxie.

Ludacris has come a long way in the game, so after an endless wait, Ludaversal promises to reflect this journey in time.

The ninth studio album is set to drop March 31st, and we can expect to hear a perfect blend of emotional and personal joints, that invite us into the world of the southern emcee, on an entire new level.

To confirm the project is underway, the representin’ legend gave us a preview of the retro cover art, which signifies the powerful movement from the ‘come up’ to success.

In fact, lets see the words of Ludacris break this down in its entirety:

“We been waiting years for this and I’m telling you it was worth the wait. You saw me just drop the album cover. That’s my ’93 Acura Legend with my Hawker 700 private plane.
