Louis Mattrs invites listeners to his “Surf Party”

With his Slow Waves EP still in heavy rotation, Brighton singer Louis Mattrs kicks off 2016 with some brand new sounds.

“Surf Party” is super vibed out track that sees Louis crooning about what he and his acquaintances do to have a good time. If you’re familiar with “Get Down Saturday Night” by Oliver Cheatham and Jocelyn Brown, then you might peep the sample, which is pretty ill.

In other news, Louis Mattrs will be performing at Birthday’s in London, this Thursday (January 28th). If you’re in the neighborhood, be sure to pull up on him.

Louis Mattrs caps a sensational year with his “Slow Waves EP”

With 2015 being a noteworthy year for him, singer, songwriter and producer, Louis Mattrs looks to build on his current momentum with the release of his new EP, Slow Waves.

“I wrote most of this EP in my bedroom, alone after midnight”, Louis says. “Thats my favorite spot to work”

Five tracks in length, with the only features being from Chicago’s Lucki Eck$, as well as LK Faith, Slow Waves is sonic proof of Louis’ versatility as an artist, and it is that versatility that will make him hard to overlook in 2016 and beyond. Take a listen below.

UK native, Louis Mattrs, gets sultry for his new single “Superman” which will be found on his upcoming Slow Waves EP. The single is sonically haunting and will leave every listener wanting to hear it again. Not only does he provide an amazing voice but he also gives amazing production. The Brighton born and raised artist is quickly making a name for himself with being played on Radio 1 and 1Xtra Radio as well as being featured on Chase & Status‘ “Lost & Not Found” track. Be on the lookout for his EP and for now get used to what he brings with “Superman.”
