Odd Future ringleader Tyler, The Creator is set to release his own television network, available to stream directly from the Internet. Eliminating the cable network stations and their affiliates, Tyler is teaming up with former ABC and Yahoo senior executive Lloyd Braun and his new company, Whalerock, to bring an all-access channel of everything on Tyler, The Creator’s mind.

Tyler announced the news at the Code/Media conference in Dana Point, California yesterday, explaining, “I’m creating my own MTV, my own Cartoon Network on this thing. It’s just basically my brain in one place.”

Tyler and the Odd Future crew have already been highly successful with their Adult Swim television show Loiter Squad, which makes it easy to assume that the upcoming network will showcase equally hilarious and creative content. The new network will be available as soon as June as an app or on the web, offering viewers a significant amount of free content in addition to paid subscriptions that would give users extra videos or programs and further access to the site.

As Tyler, Taco, L-Boy, and Jasper prepare for their second season on Adult Swim, Loiter Squad has managed to move from the cable box to the dressing room. Odd Future has joined forces with Danish retailer Storm and heritage apparel originator Mitchell and Ness to create the exclusive Loiter Squad Capsule Collection. Featuring fresh snapbacks and even fresher lemon shirts, the new merchandise debuted at the Rosklide Film festival in Denmark with the help of a innovative “Container Cinema” flashing the series’ best episodes. While the logos may seem simple and lackluster, the Storm Brothers assure that the T-shirts are designed to the most complex ethical and environmental standards. Apparently, “this high quality is guaranteed by Neutral, the most certified environmentally responsible brand in the work.” The collection is available now at Storm to both the praise and disappointment of many OFWGKA fans who either love or hate the collection respectively.

You might have heard of Lionel Boyce, the somewhat lesser known Odd Future member who recently got arrested outside of the Boston show. You’ve definitely heard his voice— that deep one that speaks the first words on the Odd Future Tape Vol. 2 calling all his “dusty ass” friends ugly. But that same guy who calls Domo a fatass and details Syd’s possible sexual exploits, is actually pretty soft-spoken. We got a minute to speak with the man himself outside of the NYC pop up shop on Tuesday. Boyce, 20,discusses starring in Loiter Squad (premiering this Sunday, the 25^th) and the beauty of having famous friends.

What’s your position on Loiter Squad? 

I produce on the show and I’m one of the four main characters on the show.

So what can we expect from the show?

A whole bunch of skits and shit like that. No one’s seen it so they assume it’s gonna be like Chappelle’s Show. It’s skits though.

And it’s all Odd Future?

Yeah the guys in the group are in it, but the four main guys are: me, Jasper, Tyler and Taco.

What kind of skits do you do? 

Well, we have one where we dress up like the Williams sisters and went around or whatever. It was on the internet, there was an article in Orlando ’cause they really thought that the Williams sisters was there, but it was me and Tyler dressed up. So they got mad, I guess, or whatever.

How’d you come up with the idea for the show?

Tyler’s always told me we’d do a show, ‘I’ma do a show and you’re gonna be in it,’ or whatever, as corny as that sounds, but we did.

What do you do with Odd Future besides for the show?

I’m the drug dealer. No, I’m kidding. Sometimes I help out with merch, I go on tour. For the most part it’s the show.

How many people in the crew go on the tour?

The guys that rap and Jasper and Taco too. And Lucas.

What is Lucas’s deal?

Merch, he’s just famous.

Once you get famous you bring all your friends with you.

Yeah, he’s just a famous guy.

Where are you going to watch the premier?

In Atlanta, I don’t know if they’re doing something out there or whatever. I know we’ll be in Atlanta so maybe hopefully I’ll catch it on TV.

Tyler, the Creator has seen nothing but success for his list of life goals. He has been crowned “Best New Artist” at this year’s VMA Awards, sold more than 100,000 copies of his sophomore album Goblin, and has one of the most viral videos, “Yonkers,” currently counting in at 22 million views. With an Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All book titled Golf Wang in November and a national tour coming soon, the crew’s next takeover is television with Loiter Squad.

Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim announced the live-action show yesterday, where they plan to feature sketches, man on the street segments, pranks and music from the gang. It will be produced by Dickhouse Entertainment under the team of Johnny Knoxville, Jeff Tremaine and Spike Jonze who have been behind Jackass, Nitro Circus, Rob Dydrek’s Fantasy Factory and many others.

If Loiter Squad is anything like the hilarious banter and so-called highlight skating reel seen here (excuse the language!), then this should be pretty good.
