New Music: Lil West Ft. Lil Aaron – “LMK”

18-year old Lil West has built a lot of momentum over the past year and returns with the Lil Aaron collabo “LMK,” produced by Judge and Dylan Brady. The banger will appear on the Delaware native’s upcoming project LW2016 (LILWEST2016).

“Judge, Dylan & Lil Aaron are all like my family so this was just bound to happen!!” West told Complex.

Judge and I have been talking/plotting on cooking some crazy shit up for awhile. He ended up sending me that beat he did with Dylan, thinking I wasn’t going to really like it LOL. I sent it back that next day and the song just got 10x better when Lil Aaron threw his verse on there, and Judge & Dylan god-leveled the beat.

New Music: Lil West – ‘DON’T! Just Stop’ (Feat. Dylan Brady)

As the buzz on 17 year old Delaware native, Lil West, continues to grow louder, he releases the first official single “DON’T! Just Stop” featuring Dylan Brady. Lil West described the new song to Fader: “The dreamy bells and dark/melodic outro are all thanks to Dylan. The first version was different ’cause I was on the hook with no adlibs. I wasn’t feeling my version though, so I hit Dylan up for some assistance, and we spent at least a week working on it and then boom!”

The infectious song was produced by TM88 & Dylan Brady and will be found on Lil West’s upcoming EP. His deep growl and mature subject matter may have you believing something different. West got his start at 14, after being inspired by mainstay and underground king Curren$y, and is looking to make a similar mark on the game– he’s already on the right path with a steady string of releases, most recently capping off with an EP “That’s Too Much.”

West’s sound borrows from Atlanta’s bubbling trap scene, while looking to the future and building upon it. He’ll lather on the auto-tune and or go raw without it– his unique voice will make an impact either way.

Lil West is a 17-year-old rapper from Delaware (yes, Delaware), that should be on your radar this year. He recently shared an EP titled “That’s Too Much,” which probably has that titled because West delivers a handful of contagious singles with this project. “That’s Too Much” is 7 tracks strong, and no filler. Lil West maintains a very consistent, and irresistible approach sonically, dabbling in both autotune and pure lyricism. The entire body of work is produced by Yung Milkcrate, a producer Lil West connected with through the internet.
