Young Nudy does his usual due diligence as he puts on for Atlanta’s Zone 6 by linking in the lab with super producer, Pi’erre Bourne – best known for his tag, “Yo Pi’erre!”

The two hit makers lock in one of the best rapper/producer collabs of the year (thus far) as they dedicate the 12-track project to Atlanta’s east side as they drop hitters such as: “Hot Wings,” “Shotta” and “Gas Station.”

Including features from 21 Savage, DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion and Lil Uzi Vert, the tape makes for the perfect trap-inspired soundtrack for summer 2019.

In light of the new release, Nudy also drops the official visual to, “Shotta,” featuring sexy femcee, Megan Thee Stallion.

It’s no secret that Howard University’s homecoming is one of the absolute best. Hundreds of people come to this Historically Black University every year to vibe and reconnect with some of the illest people you’ll ever meet. This year’s homecoming was dope because it marked the return of Yardfest. For those who don’t know, Yardfest is basically one huge party/music festival on the yard; it is also an amazing expression of Hip-Hop culture, not just through the performances but also through the fashion, food, and pretty much everything else. Check out this photoset to see just how lit things got this weekend:

DJ Drama revealed the cover artwork for his upcoming album, ‘Quality Street Music 2′,  earlier and it’s about time! It’s been a long time coming.

Philadelphia native, Lil Uzi Vert drops off a new single, released earlier today, titled “Sub-Zero.” This song coming a few days after the release of Wiz Khalifa’s “Pull Up,” that featured Uzi. Sub Zero is produced by Maaly Raw. This isn’t the first collab between the two. They also collaborated on Uzi’s very popular, Luv is Rage mixtape, then once again on his follow up project, Lil Uzi Vert vs. The World.

Uzi has great energy on this song as he talks about his jewelry and the cost of it. It featured a flow much similar to those found on his previous projects. Uzi has been labeled raps new rockstar, and with his high energy songs and simple flow he is upholding to the name on this new release.

At this point Uzi seems unstoppable. Fans have really taken notice to his movement. The song was posted to his sound cloud account at 5 o clock, and has already received over 56,000 plays. With the big influence social media has now of days, especially with music, it isn’t quite surprising that his movement has been able to elevate to the heights that it has. Uzi is very active on Twitter and Soundcloud, actually releasing the cover art for the song  via Twitter. and tweeting out that he was dropping new music, before posting it to his sound cloud account.

Last night I had the pleasure of attending, excuse me I mean experiencing a Lil Uzi Vert show as he headlined his first show in his hometown of Philadelphia.  As the 21-year-old self-proclaimed rock star hit his hometown stage, hundreds of phones illuminated the venue as fans tried to capture the moment as they screamed the lyrics “No I’m not Jordan, but I,am the goat!” The night was filled with women jumping over barricades to get to the stage, mosh pits and whole lot of dabbing. The atmosphere was filled with so much energy and every song was a sing-along as Uzi went through his catalog of raging hits. If you’ve never had the opportunity of being apart The Lil Uzi Experience I suggest you go and here’s 3 reasons why.

1. Crowd Interaction

One thing you can guarantee is when at a Uzi show he will sing and dance with his fans all night. Numerous times throughout the night Uzi ran into the crowd yelling his lyrics in fans faces as they sung along and danced to his songs. Majority of the show Uzi was in the crowd instead of the stage, which allows you to enjoy the show with your friends and the artist you came to see, making Uzi Vert a fan favorite.

2.The Infamous Eye Roll and Dance

For those of you who follow Lil Uzi on social media you know what I mean when I say the infamous eye roll and dance. Uzi has one of a kind shimmy like dance moves and facial expressions and his fans love him for it. You may think that his little dance and eye roll is insignificant, but when Uzi started to dance and roll his eyes on stage the ladies in the crowd went crazy. Mobs of women rushed to get closer to the stage and one group of ladies even had to be escorted out after running on the stage to hug Uzi. Uzi was said to be feminine because of him rolling his eyes and how he dances but clearly those moves have a way with the ladies.

3. Lil Uzi Aka The Lil Surfer

For the sake of this argument we’re going to give Lil Uzi the nickname the Lil Surfer. Standing around five feet and four inches tall and about 130 pounds, Uzi makes for the perfect artist to crowd surf. As Vert performed his smash hit “Money Longer” Uzi  stopped and stared into the crowd as if he seen someone he’s been looking for years and at the moment I knew what was coming next. Uzi went flying into the crowd like he jumped off a diving board. Fans embraced Uzi and carried the little rock star for a few minutes before throwing him back on stage. As he got back on stage I noticed a female fan actually crowd surfing herself. Crowd surfing is always fun but not every artist takes that leap of faith. At a Uzi show you can guarantee he’ll crowd surf and maybe you will too.

To celebrate his memory, the man behind the creative direction of A$AP Mob movement and fallen friend A$AP Yams will soon have a book dedicated solely to him out.

The book, created by Ajani Brathwaite, is a series of Yams’ most memorable (funny and eccentric) tweets while he was alive. If you followed Yams on Twitter, you know his passion for the hip-hop culture and his hilarious sense of humor.

The dope thing is, the book is set to release on the day of the very first Yams Day tribute concert at Terminal 5 in New York (headlined by A$AP Mob with special guests Lil Uzi and Joey Bada$$). The date of the concert will also be the one-year anniversary of his unexpected passing January 18th. All proceeds will be given to the family of A$AP Yams.

The book is now available for pre-order for $40.

Philly’s own Lil Uzi Vert has been pretty consistent as of late, dropping quality track after quality track in an effort to build the anticipation for his upcoming mixtape, Luv Is Rage. In celebration of his 21st birthday, Uzi decided to drop off more trap heat with the Metro Boomin-produced track, “No Wait.”
