New York emcee KM Kash returns to the music scene with a fire new single titled “Legendary”. As he is one of the hottest new rappers coming out of New York, he makes a major statement with his latest release. KM is here to remind us that REAL rappers with conscious tongues are still booming out of New York, the place that created Hip Hop.

On “Legendary” you will hear the rising superstar flowing about feeling like he is legendary, as he keeps his eye on the prize in order to garner success. Some of his most notable lyrics can be heard on the ear appealing chorus. KM spits “Shorty told me my heart cold like it’s February, I kill a track bury that it’s in the cemetery, niggas ain’t tough they be chatting man they very scary”. His deep lyrical content and confident tone of voice stands out most on this song.

When you pair his grungy New York vocals over the Deemarc produced beat, you get a sound that simply cannot be duplicated. Kash does a great job of creating a record that remains true to his character, demeanor and will to be the best in the game. One thing that is for certain is that with each release, his high quality sound gets better and better.

Bronx native Swave HMG, leader of the Tally Global collective, releases his full length project titled Legendary. The album finds the upstart mixing a unique brand of golden era NY aesthetics with a new school sensibility. The 14 track project, with majority of the production handled by Dizzybanko, features standout songs such as “Its Whateva” and “Wrong Ni**a.”

Prodigy and Havoc have been steadily building towards the April 1st release of their first joint album as Mobb Deep since 2006. Today, they dropped the appropriately-titled “Legendary,” featuring Southern veterans Bun B and Juicy J. The track is more radio-friendly than the typical raw Mobb Deep fare, maintaining the quality of previous releases we’ve heard from The Infamous Mobb Deep. “Legendary” is another strong track and should only help build anticipation for the Queens rappers’ long-awaited eighth LP.
