The West Coast is back, officially. Sure, there have been artists from California who have been holding down the west for years, but the coast is bigger than that. With great music starting to come from places like Arizona, Colorado & even Oregon, the whole Coast has begun to join in on the fun. Hailing from Eastside Las Vegas, rising rapper Leanin Lo turns in his brilliant new album, 4 The Low.

Boasting an all-star cast of features which include the likes of Larry June, Z Money & ALLBLACK, as well as Grammy nominated artists Mozzy, Garren, King Vay & Kacey Khaliel, 4 The Low is an aggressively charged, bass-driven project that is wildly enjoyable. At 20-tracks, the album may seem a bit bloated at first, but within the listen, it’s not as long as advertised. At only 1 hour long, the jam-packed album is a great listen for when you’re getting ready to go to war, or if you just want some new potent rap.

One of the things your father teaches you when growing up, is the importance of never misplacing your wallet. I can remember very vividly my pops giving me my first wallet and stressing to me about always putting my money in there to keep safe.

That only works when there’s not a literal knot in your pocket from holding so much cash, & that’s exactly the notion that Eastside Vegas rep Leanin Lo touches on — among others — in his dope new visuals for, “No Wallet.”

Directed by one of my favorite up and coming videographers, CMDelux, “No Wallet” is a seriously catchy track that at the same time never loses it’s authenticity. Lo syphons through different cadences and flows, while Z Money’s guest feature is refreshing and infectious with his witty lyrics and menacing southern drawl.

With a handful of videos already out, it’s not too long before Lo starts to climb the ranks. Keep an eye out for the Eastside Vegas native & check out his new video, below.
