With all the controversy surrounding Tyga and how he chooses to live his life, it makes sense for him renounce fame, calling it the devil in his latest visual “40 Mill.” The dark track, which was produced by Kanye West and Mike Dean features Tyga’s lucid flows and a hook reminiscent to the classic Tupac line, “all I want is money, f*ck the fame I’m a simple man.”

The visual itself was directed by T-Raww and shows off rooftop views of his Last Kings store on Melrose, where he is met by a crowd of fans and watched by fallen angels. Check it out below and stay on the look out for Tyga’s upcoming album The Gold Album, which could drop at any time.

King Gold Chains is adding something special to his upcoming Gold Album: 18th Dynasty, a cover art that is actually, yes…real gold.
T-Raww never fails to move in style, so what better opportunity than to throw some bands on his fourth LP cover. The art signifies Horus, the Egyptian God of the sun, war and protection, certainly unique to previous album designs. Having been perfected by Kanye West and the Donda team, we would expect just that.
Kanye will also be executive producer for the work in progress, and according to Tyga, he is helping extensively with the creation of new melodies.
It seems T-Raww is coming back harder, since facing difficulties with his label and of course former acquaintances. We wait to hear more from the Make It Work artist, before the album drops early January; in the meantime check the creative artwork below:

#TheGoldAlbum cover created by Kanye & Donda. made out of real gold. #Kingin #LastKings

Canadian rapper Honey Cocaine has really been hustling hard working to get her latest mixtape, Like a Drug , ready for release. Born in Cambodia but raised in Toronto, Honey Cocaine writes hard-hitting lyrics that are more bite than bark. Honey Cocaine, now signed to Last Kings Entertainment, was discovered by Tyga after posting a freestyle rap to “Rack City” on YouTube. The artist was featured on Tyga’s tracks, “Heisman” and “Heisman, Pt. II.”

“Curve Ball” is the first video from Like a Drug. Though Honey Cocaine does not appear in the video, it follows the “thirsty” antics of attendees of Toronto’s famous Caribana festival. A girl, dressed in bikini top and short shorts, struts about the festival as the camera follows and documents the reaction of men at the festival. It’s a big ol’ man-bashing good time. The girl featured in the video wags her finger at men who vie for her attention, and befriends the local law enforcement. The whole while, Honey Cocaine’s voice resonates over the simple beat, “You know the motto / Honey never fall in love / Specially not no / Motherf**kin’ scrubs.” The video exposes the demeaning and ridiculous behavior that not only women in the rap industry, but women on the street every day have to put up with from ‘motherf**kin scrubs.’

Honey Cocaine is known for standing up for feminist causes with her music and her art. In a 2012 interview, she gave this advice to aspiring female MC’s: “Don’t try too hard to be a man. There are too many girls rapping like dudes. You have Foxy Brown, Lil Kim, Lauryn hill, MC Lyte and Eve, but those girls never tried to be dudes. Thats why they were super on. You don’t have to be sexy and talk about sex. Just be yourself.”

You can check out the full track list of Like a Drug, and watch the full video for “Curve Ball” here:

Last week, Tyga tweeted about his troubles with label Young Money “holding him hostage,” and even threatened to potentially leak his highly anticipated upcoming release, Gold Album. Despite whatever might be going on over there, the Last Kings creator released the first single off of Gold Album yesterday for purchase on iTunes.

The track, titled “40 Mill,” was produced by none other than Kanye West himself alongside co-conspirator Mike Dean. While Tyga insists “I don’t wanna be famous, I just wanna be rich,” West comes in on the production side with booming, thunderous drums and deep synths. The “I am a God” performer graced Tyga with a touch of his almighty power on this track, potentially making it one of the biggest car sub-woofer slappers of the season.

Female rappers are scarce and a rare find in the rap game, but we’ve got a new honey to look out for– Honey Cocaine. Only 19, Last Kings first artist dropped her second mix tape 90s Gold. Following the 90s theme, the R&B beats from the decade match Honey’s 90s style flow. The Toronto native stands on her own in the mixtape with no features on any of the nine tracks, not even Last Kings boss Tyga. 90s Gold, hosted by DJ Ill Will, is Honey Cocaine’s first release following the shooting accident where she suffered a gun shot to the arm. The last track on the tape, “Who Shot Me,” explains what happened that night. Check it out.
