]]> PUMA Hoops has teamed up with The Trevor Project, the world’s largest crisis intervention and suicide prevention organization for LGBTQ young people, during Mental Health Awareness Month to release their debut collaboration together: the Sky Modern Trevor Project.

Since 1998, The Trevor Project has specialized in providing free crisis counseling to LGBTQ youth across the country. The partnership between The Trevor Project and PUMA is a multi-year partnership aimed at promoting and supporting LGBTQ youth participation in sports.

PUMA and several of its basketball athletes have come together for an official video PSA to raise awareness for The Trevor Project. The PSA features insight and advice from Kyle Kuzma, Katie Lou Samuelson, Walt “Clyde” Frazier, Michael Porter Jr. and Chris Brickley.

]]> Kyle Kuzma spotted walking into the Lakers game vs. the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday, March 6. Kyle was seen wearing the new PUMA x RHUDE collection.
The two top teams in the NBA faced off Friday night as the Milwaukee Bucks, owners of the best record in the NBA, traveled out west to battle the Los Angeles Lakers, owners of the second-best record in the league. While the game was close and the Lakers were able to come away with the victory, budding star Kyle Kuzma was able to turn heads and capture headlines wearing the new PUMA x RHUDE collection.
Retailing for $45 – $175, the PUMA x RHUDE collection will be available on PUMA.com, PUMA stores, RH-UDE.com, RHUDE stores, and select retailers starting March 7. In short RHUDE, started by designer Rhuigi Villasenor, is a streetwear brand that looks to provoke thought while keeping it simple. Its original inspiration comes from motorsport gear but with a twist on modern shapes. The Lakers star signed a new 5-year endorsement deal with Puma this past off-season and has been one of Puma’s bright spots since doing so. Kuzma sported the PUMA x RHUDE‘s earlier this season for the ball club as ESPN reporter Dave Mcmenamin tweeted:

As per usual, the NBA game was a star-studded event with heavy hitters such as actor Michael B. Jordan, former NBA player Dwayne Wade, NFL star Joe Hadden, and sports agent Rich Paul were all in attendance. Yet none shined brighter than business mogul JAY Z who was also in attendance. Dressed in all black Rhude with the classic Puma Sampson Lows, JAY Z, the creative director for PUMA, was the talk of the night as Jordan, Wade, and Paul all made sure to stop by his courtside seat to show love.

The next chance to catch the young PUMA phenom will be Sunday, March 8th as the Lakers’ take on the highly-touted Los Angeles Clippers in their final regular-season matchup. In their last battle on Christmas Day, the Clippers came away with the victory but Kuzma stepped up leading the Lakers with 25 points on red-hot shooting.
