Shady Records’ own Kxng Crooked and Wu-Tang affiliate Bronze Nazareth announce the release of their new project Gravitas set for release on December 13, 2019 via Fat Beats/Holy Toledo Productions. Leading the way for this release is the hard hitting and gripping track, “I Can Still Remember.”

Hailing from from Long Beach, California and Gun Rule, MI respectively, Kxng Crooked and Bronze Nazareth unearth some newly refined yet classic Wu-Tang x C.O.B sounds. Combining elite lyricism from Kxng Crooked and hand crafted production by none other than Bronze Nazareth, Gravitas gives fans 14 powerful tracks of introspection.

“I could try to think of something deep to say about the album., or I could think of something really fly to say about it, but the realest thing I can tell you is… just listen to it – it speaks for itself.” “Kxng Crooked said.

Joining this impeccable duo are RZA, Ghostface Killah, DMX, Snoop Dogg, Royce da 5’9, Hus Kingpin, LA the Darkman, Planet Asia, Killah Priest, Bishop Lamont, Benny the Butcher, .38 Spesh and more.

“I believe true artists like Crook put it all on the track, meaning they show you who they are. There’s artists that people feel like they know because they lay it all out in the music. I felt his music to that extent,” Bronze Nazareth explained. “A year or two after we met I ended up on the 2077 tour as support for Crook, and we been cool since. The importance of this project is simple to me. Great bars and great Production. I and countless others regard him as one of the GREATS. Id put Crook up against anybody…bar for bar, double entendres, word play, flow patterns, feel – bruh has it all.”

Gravitas merch, CD, Cassette, digital and more are available for pre-order now.
Truth Ali is on the rise to the top and nothing is holding him back. The Bakersfield, CA native spits fire when he raps in his technical style full of metaphors. Truth is extremely adept lyrically and his deliverance is profound.

Truth Ali’s hip-hop inspirations include Tupac, Nas, and Jay-Z. Truth is a genuine emcee who values lyricism, which can be heard immediately in his music. So far, he already has songs with with Eminem’s Slaughterhouse/Shady Records artists Kxng Crooked and Royce da 5’9”, Cyhi The Prynce, Planet Asia and Skyzoo.

Another major inspiration to Truth was his grandfather, Sunny Stokes, who was a funk/jazz musician. Sunny gave his grandson words of wisdom and before he passed away, he gave him the advice to “finish the last round” (yes…just like boxing). Sunny’s motivation and encouragement stuck with Truth Ali, which is why he adopted the last name “Ali” after Muhammad Ali. Just like Muhammad Ali was the greatest boxer of all time, Truth Ali is set to be one of the greatest rappers of all time.

Truth Ali’s upcoming album Resurrection Season 1 is almost out and it will be unique because there will be skits in addition to the music. The album will be like a story or a TV series. Based off the dope music Truth already drops, this album will be beyond amazing!

I can picture it now, Rittz sitting on his tour bus pondering ways of how to make an already fire record from his “Next To Nothing” album that much more flame. Suddenly, a lightbulb goes off. He grabs Yelawolf and half of Slaughterhouse (Royce and Crooked) and creates a word-centric, powerhouse tune with a collection of lyricists that would rival most. The collaborative process on “LAF” has more of a competitive feel then anything, with each wordsmith trying to outshine the next. That being said, Rittz, Yela, Royce, and Crooked create unmatched, harmonious bliss, while crafting individuality around Strange Music’s theme. Not a fan of this track? You must be LAF.

Adding to the ever-growing list of social injustice tracks and visuals put out since the heightened awareness of police brutality, KXNG CROOKED’s “I Can’t Breathe” just might be the realest of them all. On the track, which borrows Tupac’s “Pain” instrumental from the Above The Rim soundtrack, KXNG CROOKED (Crooked I) gets into topics other rappers have failed to mention. Such as the KKK, crooked prosecutors and why rioting is not the answer. All in all “I Can’t Breathe” is a very thought provoking track that will have you questioning the way society functions or at least view it in a different light. Check it out below.
