The Illuzion rapper Salomon Faye recently got GQ’ed up for his latest video, “What We Do.” Detailing his tales with females, the Harlemnite takes us through his experiences with the opposite sex, which leads to an artistic explosion of emotion. With Kris Merc directing yet another visually appealing piece for the artist, we’re bound to see nothing but greatness come from these two as their talents in their craft grow.

Having previously released the track, “Black Power” back in February, artist Salomon Faye decided to illustrate exactly what he was talking about in his new video for the song. Leaving the Big Apple, Faye traveled to Baltimore to capture and document the truth behind the bias media reportings. Shot amidst the political unrest in the city during the protests for the wrongful death of Freddie Gray, director Kris Merc helps to create a mash-up of a mini-documentary and music video to bring the Harlem rapper’s song to life and support the #BlackLivesMatter movement.
