“This is your brain if your brain was a yolk / Indica strain and that’s all that she smoke,” Nitty Scott spits like she’s just breaking down basic facts. She might as well be, the instrumental for “Brain On Drugs” alone could turn your bones to dust, but adding this slew of MCs was just overkill. In the best way. Everyone brings it, though the energy goes continually down as the track progresses, with Kris having the most blood-rushing verse. Side note: what does your brain on Ken Rebel look like? New Music: Kris Kasanova – Kasanova

Last week, Brooklyn-based emcee Kris Kasanova released his new visuals for the track “Mosh Pit” from his upcoming album 24K. Now, Kasanova is releasing his new single “Kasanova” just in time for Valentine’s Day. The song isn’t necessarily a sweet Valentine’s Day track in term of lyrics, but the production is sweet courtesy of Canei Finch (J.Cole & Kendrick Lamar). The song, which features a sample of one of my grandmother’s favorite songs “Casanova” by Ruby Andrews is a boastful track and definite banger, check below. Last year, Brooklyn based emcee Kris Kasanova caught attention with his project =War Paint= , which was the follow-up to his debut project The Long Way Home. With the albums, Kasanova was able to showcase not only his knack for rhyming, but also for painting visual and believable concepts. The emcee, who recently signed with EMPIRE, is about to release his forthcoming mixtape 24k, which will feature collaborations with SZA, Flatbush Zombies, Skeme, and production from THC, DJ Dahi, Kato and more. From the upcoming project, Kasanova is releasing his new single and visuals, “Mosh Pit.” The visuals are directed by This is Butta.
