He’s baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!

After delivering a genre shifting verse on the remix of Fat Joe and Remy Ma‘s “All The Way Up“, Hip-Hop legend, Jay-Z, dials into inner Pablo Escobar on Pusha T‘s new single, “Drug Dealers Anonymous” which is a cut off of his upcoming album King Push. The hard hitting 4 minute track is produced by DJ Dahi and features Jay and Push trading bars about their time on the corner. With this being the second week in a row that we’ve heard a new verse from Jigga combined with rumors of a join album with Beyonce, it looks as if the Roc Nation owner is back in the game.

As for Pusha, this track will surely heighten the already massive anticipation for his upcoming album King Push. Though the album has been in the works since December of last year and was slated to be released this April, the former Clipse member has been busy with presidential duties. Since taking the reigns as head hancho of G.O.O.D. Music, Pusha has been working hard, helping guide their newest signee Desiigner to a number one hit on the charts. After helping to create a monster in “Panda“, time will only tell what President Push has in store for us, but that will have to take a backseat as we await his new album.

As for Jigga, who knows what we did to deserve such a verse from him, let alone two in the past two weeks. After many people, (including myself) raved about how Jay was too old to release an album and can only hurt his legacy, we were forced to shut our mouths (happily) as Hov absolutely murdered this track with quotables about the “Daaaaaaaamn Daniel” situation as well as poking fun at the heinous comments made by anchor Tomi Lahren who referred to Hova as “A man who sold drugs for 14 years” and seemingly pointed the finger at him for destruction in urban communities.

Obviously she didn’t listen to “Izzo” as any real Jay fan knows, “Hov did that” so we wouldn’t have to.

Back in December of last year, while we frantically scrambled to add Pusha T’s sophomore album, King Push – Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude, to our musical devices, we also rushed to our computers to hit up Ticketmaster or StubHub or whatever, as Push subsequently announced he was going on tour, beginning March 3rd in Vancouver, Canada.

But here’s what we didn’t know, until today…

Joining Pusha T on the road will be Sisterhood of Hip-Hop star, and I Am Other signee, BIA. If you have been keeping score, this is kind of a big deal. Bia has been bubbling for a minute, with her most recent project, Chola Season, still getting hella spins, not to mention the new music she’s dropping leading up to the release of her upcoming project, Knock On Wood. This tour will without a doubt be a chance for her to add to her already growing fan base, as well as wake up the ones who have been sleeping.

I mentioned new music, right? Right.

After teasing this one for quite a while, BIA finally delivers “Whip It” and she doesn’t disappoint. This follows her previous freestyle over O.T. Genasis’ popular record, “Cut It”. Listen as she links up with former Wiz Khalifa collaborators Cardo and Johnny Juliano, spitting ever so witty lines like, “me and them hoes no comparison/other than the fact we feminine” and “you’re like Perkins/’cause you almost get in with the winners/but suck ’cause you always hit backboard”, referring to NBA journeyman and one-time Boston Celtics player, Kendrick Perkins, who she probably used to cheer for at one time, since she’s a Beantown native.

By now you’re probably extinguishing whatever it is you play music on, after hearing Pusha T’s latest project, King Push – Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude. With that said, take a second (or 22 minutes) to check out the album’s accompanying short-film, Darkest Before Dawn.

Directed by Kid Art, Darkest Before Dawn, not only features music from the album, but also vividly paints the picture that might be in your head while listening to it.

King Push stopped by Beat 1 Radio to chop it up with Zane Lowe about many different subjects ranging from Pusha’s upcoming film Darkest Before Dawn, his project slated to drop April of 2016 entitled King Push, and his duties as the G.O.O.D. Music hefe. They also discuss his new album Darkest Before Dawn (The Prelude), as well as his new track “M.F.T.R.” featuring The Dream.

The acronym stands for “More Famous Than Rich”, which is exactly how Pusha T feels about most of these people in the game who stunt on social media without having the credentials to back it up. Boi-1da laces Push and The Dream with an instrumental that fits the duo perfectly. To put it simply, it’s a banger.

He even previewed the lyrics on Genius a few days prior to dropping the audio, the same move he made with the first track off the album called “Untouchable”. Needless to say, he is sparing no expense and leaving no stone unturned to make sure that his projects are at a high-level quality for his fans. Listen to the world premiere and full interview below.

“The president of G.O.O.D. Music has been announced…”, Pusha T declares in his new banger “Untouchable” which is slated to be on his upcoming King Push: Darkest Before the Dawn. He unleashed the dark visuals this morning via TIDAL, but you can stream the video for free below. The video matches the gritty aesthetic the Timbaland-produced track gives off, and we expect nothing less from Pusha. Be ready to hear more material from President Push within the coming weeks as we inch closer to the release of his new project later this year.

Aside from the occasional feature here and there, G.O.O.D. Music artist Pusha T has been lying low these past couple of months, but is now back on the scene with a brand new track titled “Lunch Money,” produced by G.O.O.D. Music’s head chief in charge himself, Mr. Kanye West.
As hungry as he’s ever been, Push is out to snatch the crown from whoever is claiming ownership of it.

This is crime by design. If the crown ain’t mine, tell me who am I behind? Ye-uh, I’m taking n*gga’s lunch money. Too bad, I was f*cking hungry. Real n*ggas don’t notice you, I’m the only dope boy quotable.

Push has enlisted Pharrell for production on his forthcoming effort, King Push. There has been no word as to whether or not “Lunch Money” will be included.
