What does your playlist reveal about you? Rap music enthusiasts listen to songs they can relate to. A careful analysis of your playlist can tell you a lot about yourself. This is what rappers like Kaliwae consider when developing lyrics. In a recent interview, Kaliwae talked about her new single. She also talked about the inspirations that ignite her sassy appeal.

She was recently asked to describe her music and she stated the following. “My music is fun, catchy, a bad b***h anthem. I try to create music that’s a reflection of me. Something a bad b***h can ride to!” She creates many vibes to stay diverse. However, her focus is to influence women who listen to her music. This is an affirmation you can confirm when playing her new single “Melrose.” A statement of dominance, independence and sexy confidence.

Rappers work hard to be creative. Regardless of their personal challenges, expectations, or perceptions. Kaliwae believes that female rappers don’t get the same reception as their male counterparts. She has an interesting strategy to counter this. She confirms, “My focus right now is learning to brand myself in a new way. I’m basically the clout chasing- brother dissing rapper.”

Last summer Kaliwae released ‘friendly diss track’ targeting her brother Blueface. The track came after a family argument. What better way to deal with male chauvinism than to poke at your sibling? This is Kaliwae’s version of creativity. The same sassy attitude that helps her stand out as a female rapper.

Kaliwae has her opinion about the music industry. Some of those opinions will trigger resentment from other rappers. She reiterates the need to positively impact other people. Which is secondary for most artists. “Rap songs used to tell stories; lyrics were a means of connecting with the fan base”.

She is worried that those principles are slowly being forgotten. All her songs have messages that people can relate to. Especially women who want to love themselves again. This is her purpose, which demands dedication and consistency.

The recording studio is heaven for Kaliwae. “It’s a place I feel safe and can let it all out”. Her commitment to growth as a rapper is outstanding. Focus is integral to achieving her personal life goals. Kaliwae strives to put all these analogies, perspectives in her song lyrics. If you find yourself loving her new single “Melrose,”. We can probably guess your personality traits and what’s important to you.

Khrave is a 19-year-old music video director who, despite his young age, is quickly making a name for himself in the industry. If you are looking for a style out of the ordinary and with an exploration of creativity, he could very well be your best option! He started his career after helping a high school classmate shoot a music video for fun. That video captured the attention of many who consequently asked him to undertake their projects, as well. From there, he fell in love with the art, and the rest was history!

Today, Khrave is the owner of TRML Alliance, a video production company that caters to the needs of many aspiring artists pursuing music. He is dedicated to contributing to their growth by creating videos that are visually appealing with eye catching effects. His unique style of editing separates him from the pack. He’s inspired by the work of Cole Bennett, another prodigious young music video director, who gradually conquered the hip-hop video world. When asked what he likes about his work, Khrave responded, “Having the opportunity to mold his creative thoughts into a visual production that others can enjoy,” and he is achieving just that!

Khrave believes that one quality every music video director should have is being able to connect with the artists; having the ability to understand what the artist wants to convey means that the idea can be brought to life and developed to perfection. His flexibility allows him to envision and intertwine the artist’s imagination with his own creative ability, in an effort to produce a masterpiece.

He’s shot well over 100 videos and has no plans of stopping any time soon. His YouTube channel has approximately 800,000 views, nearing his goal of over one million. He typically shoots Hip-Hop videos, but, says he’s open to working with other musical genres. Currently, he is working with Kaliwae on her new project. She happens to be the sister of Billboard Hot 100 platinum recording artist Blueface, who’s signed to Birdman’s Cash Money West label. Khrave emphasizes “I’ve got some pretty dope concepts in mind for Kaliwae’s new single, so definitely look out for that”.

Recently, he filmed a music video for YBN Almighty Jay, a rapper who was launched to fame in 2017 after the release of his single “Chopsticks” which earned more than 4 million views within a month of its release! He’s also directly responsible for editing all the video footage for YRN Mango, YRN Murk and YRN Domingo, the artists under Grammy-nominated rapper, Offset.

So, if you’re in need of a video director, who’s hungry for success, to bring your vision to life, Khrave, the original creative, has it covered!
