Critically acclaimed scripted digital drama Giants has captivated the minds of many with the arrival of its powerful Season two. Featured in this series are creator and leading man James Bland, as well as Vanessa Baden, Kelly and Sean Samuels. Executive produced by Jussie Smollett, Giants is streamed via Color Creative TV, on Issa Rae’s YouTube channel every Wednesday.

Season 1 captured the challenges of being a black millennial tackling taboo subjects such as mental health, sexual orientation, and the pressures of living in an ever changing world. The show was created for the culture by a culture influencer. Bland wanted to create something that would resonate directly with millions of black millennials having identity issues.

This season, Giants will continue to push the envelope, tackling abortion, drug abuse, black masculinity, and sexual assault. To add some more fire to the show, guest stars Kelsey Scott, Will Catlett, KJ Smith, Woody McClain and J August Richards, who co-wrote and directed two episodes, will appear in season 2 . Sometimes life does imitate art. After playing recording artist Jamal on the record breaking, hit show Empire week after week, actor Jussie Smollett has signed a recording deal with Columbia Records. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Smollett confirmed the deal and gushed about being labelmates with the likes of Adele and Beyonce and working on his first solo album on the label. Soon enough, fans will no longer have to wait to watch episodes of Empire to hear Smollett’s voice.
