Harrisburg, Pennsylvania native StayGoldenSwerve has released a fire new single titled “Overtime”. Every since the tender age of 9, his love for music has allowed him to use song to combat hardship, triumphs and his rawest of emotions. With an original sound Swerve’s talent and desire to be different as a recording artist, shines on this song.

“Overtime” is the perfect summer record! The uptempo Caribbean inspired beat, creates an infectious vibe felt throughout. Jusa Riddim does an excellent job producing a melody that sonically, matches up with the MC’s vocals. But one element that stand out the most, is the Florida infused hip hop harmony he has included in his signature sound.

After relocating to Florida to take his career to new heights, he adapted to the rich and unique culture the sunshine state has to offer. The cross of east coast lyrics mixed with the southern, Caribbean undertone makes his stand out as a newcomer.

Some notable lyrics from this release are “playing it cool, playing it cool I don’t like to be played for a fool, don’t you go breaking the rules.” These bars convey Swerve’s calm demeanor, and desire for honesty and truth. With a backing from Lil Skies, Gucci Mane, Landon Cube, PNB Rock, A Boogie, and Fetty Wap, this rising artist is on his way to the top.
