19-year-old Memphis rapper/crooner Jon Waltz has crafted a one of the best EPs we’ve heard all year. Alyss is the story of a troubled party girl who leaves New York in search of something more. What she finds, however, is more trouble. Over the course of the 7 songs, you’ll get part of her story, and we can only hope Waltz decides to keep telling us more down the line. It really adds to the effectiveness of the music, so you should definitely read along.
