JAYO had embraced the grind of the traditional 9-5 schedule. Substitute teacher by day, singer/songwriter by night and rising YouTuber/Instagram personality in between –– he’s doing what most people in LA aspire to do;  pursuing his dreams, and doing it with style.

Inspired by Ed Sheeran and Frank Ocean, you’ll hear JAYO’s take on Pop music as well as R&B, providing a unique, fun and positive take that unites sounds of old with sounds of new.

You’ll hear a common theme within his debut EP SAY IT. JAYO is a storyteller who speaks his own truths in his music. While some songs may take you back to your first heartbreak, and others will make you remember the first time you fell in love –– one thing remains the same: JAYO wants you to believe there will always be a light at the end of the tunnel. That’s because JAYO is really Just A Young Optimist. JAYO’s catchy melodies and smooth lyrics invites listeners to join the movement of positivity and hope.
