Harlem’s Jay Prezi Drops Off New Single, “Whoa”

Harlem rapper Jay Prezi is setting the tone for the decade with his new effort titled “Whoa,” featuring frequent collaborator Harlem Beanz, and introducing Khaliente. Furthermore, the trio effortlessly play off of each other, painting a unique picture of their past experiences being raised in the city.

Harlem Beanz introduces the song with his knack for crafting infectious hooks, leading into Prezi’s boisterous verse, where he demonstrates impressive wordplay. Moreover, Khaliente seamlessly follows, feeding off of Jay Prezi’s energy, and coining phrases like “speaking Cap-aneese.” The two artists reunite on the final verse, initiating a call-and-response-like event, with Prezi and Khaliente trading their cinematic Harlem experiences.

“In the club with a bad bitch, we don’t get fly, we just levitate / In the trenches, we was on the benches, trapping two phones like Kevin Gates,” they rap. Check it out below.

Jay Prezi Returns With his Latest Visual for “JUMPIN”

Jay Prezi is securing his spot at the top with his latest visual for “JUMPIN”. Throughout the video, the Harlem native makes it clear that he’s here to stay and making a hustling-themed summer anthem. He’s on a mission to show you that not only is he done waiting for doors to open, but he’s building his own.

In the video, he puts his swag on full display. He also brought along some snakes and a pyro dancer, making for some fire visuals. Once again, Prezi teamed up with Cole Eckerle to make one the best videos of the year. Watch the video below, and let me know what you think.

From shooting for AT&T’s 212 Thing campaign to dropping his latest single “JUMPIN,” it’ clear he’s gonna be staying busy for a while. Lyrically, Prezi delivers a sharp freestyle and shows off his skills as a rapper. In his latest offering, he crafts an anthem for hustlers everywhere and tells it like it is. The rapper showcases his talent by masterfully creating a high energy track with a laid back flow.

Jay Prezi Releases “Revenge” Music Video

Back in December, Jay Prezi released his EP blood.sweat.tears. It was clear from the beginning that “Revenge” would be one of the hottest tracks. Now, Prezi has teamed up with Nike to release visuals for the Evan Brown produced the track. The rapper has previously collaborated with Nike as one of their regional representatives in the critically acclaimed “Just Do It” campaign, alongside Serena Williams and Colin Kaepernick in 2018.

The video, directed by Cole Eckerle, finds Prezi taking shots on the infamous Millbank Court in Harlem. Throughout the video, you can find the rapper showing off his skills and throwing down with a number of friends and other Harlem creatives. It’s clear that Prezi’s not only here to stay, but also uniting New York in the process. Check out the video below.
