Jay also called on the help of his fellow Black Congress Music Group artists Maine Event and Scoopz. Black Congress Music is the independent music label founded and operated by Jay Burna and the focus of much of his energy, when he isn’t busy working on his own music. His time running an independent label may be limited though, seeing as he’s recently been scouted by a variety of labels, including Atlantic Records, Sony Records and Cash Money Records, although he hasn’t committed to any major label as of yet. With the release of Trill Nights, we can only expect more suitors to go after Jay Burna.

Prior to Trill Nights,  Jay Burna headlines include a single “Ready”, which was featured on air at MTV and VH1 and gained acclaim as the outlet’s most socially shared video, digitally. Another marquee Jay Burna single is “Mood”, which premiered on the front page of VIBE and charted nationally at #119 on urban radio and #19 on the indie charts.

Recording artist Jay Burna rose to fame largely due to versatile flows and creative ambitions. “My music is a journey through life,” says Jay. Part writer, composer, and director, the South Florida rapper has also worked with artists and producers such as Kid Ink, Sammie, Bigg D, Cainon Lamb, Curren$y, Jerry Wonda, Isaac Opus and Zoey Dollaz.

Coming fresh off his nationally charted single, “Mood,” Jay Burna keeps the music coming with “Jade Ocean.” Produced by Smash David,“Jade Ocean” is the lead track on Jay Burna’s upcoming mixtape “Trill Nights.” 

The song is hard hitting with spot on wordplay and Jay Burna harmonizing on the hook as well. Keeping it short and sweet, the record runs for less than three minutes – but what lacks in length, the versatile emcee more than makes up for with complex rhyming schemes and a grimy sound that leaves us wanting more.

“Trill Nights” will be Jay Burna’s 12th mixtape under the Black Congress Music Group independent label and his first since 2014. From then until now, Jay Burna released a single “Ready”, which was featured on MTV and VH1. Burna also released the aforementioned single “Mood” produced by Grammy winners Bigg D and Labo which premiered on the front page of Vibe.

“Trill Nights” includes top tier production by Bang Out, Smash David, and more. In addition to the physical distribution, the entire “Trill Nights” will be available for digital download.

For now, Jay Burna fans can rock with the “Jade Ocean” heat released today. Look for more of the same when the mixtape “Trill Nights” drops March 4th.
