The long awaited sequel to Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner has arrived. Blade Runner 2049 takes place thirty years after the events of the first film.

A new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

The film is directed by Denis Villeneuve and written by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green. It is the sequel to Blade Runner and sees Harrison Ford reprise his role as Rick Deckard. The film also stars Ryan Gosling, Ana de Armas and Jared Leto.

In the teaser Rick and K meet face to face when Rick pulls a gun on Officer K. Will Rick provide K with the answers he is looking for or will he turn his back on his fellow Blade Runner?

The film is set to release on October 6^th, 2017.  Check out the teaser below:

While that spinoff has yet to be greenlit, Margot will be producing and starring in a Harley Quinn spinoff that will feature DC’s female superheroes and villains. We could see characters like Bat Girl, Bird of Prey, Poison Ivy, Talia al Ghul, Killer Frost, Black Canary, Vixen, Hawk Girl or Huntress.

Margot dove into the DC universe when she snagged the role of Harley and immediately fell in love with DC’s female characters. After securing the writer herself, Margot reached out to Warner Bros. who snatched it right up.

As per MovieFone, “A script is already in the works, with a female writer, though THR’s report says that details about the project are so shrouded in secrecy that not only is the plot being kept heavily under wraps, but not even the screenwriter’s name is known. Robbie herself is shepherding the project at Warner Bros., and will produce the flick as well.”

Looks like we may be getting this spinoff sooner rather than later. If Warner Bros decides to fast track this project, this Harley Quinn film would be the second female-led movie in the DCEU, following behind Wonder Woman. It’s looking like it might fill either the Oct. 5, 2018 or the  Nov. 1, 2019 dates that Warner Bros has reserved for DC movies.

Here’s hoping we get to see the women of the DC Universe!

Caldwell has accomplished 11 routes while free climbing Yosemite’s El Capitan. During an historic run in 2014-2015, he completed the first ascent of the Fitz Traverse in Patagonia (a seven-summit climb spanning four miles and 13,000 ft. across snow and ice-covered rock) and the first free ascent of the Dawn Wall on El Cap in January of 2015, which took him 19 days. He is also known for his escape from rebels in Kyrgyzstan in 2000. Caldwell and fellow climbers Beth Rodden, John Dickey and Jason Smith were held hostage and Caldwell ended up pushing a lone captor off a cliff, which led to their escape to government soldiers.

Ozturk is a painter, filmmaker and expedition climber. His cutting edge big-wall first ascents, mountain murals and films  have brought him around the globe from the high Himalaya, to the jungles of Borneo and deserts of Africa.

Digiulian is the first and only North American woman, and the youngest woman in the world, to climb the difficulty grade of 5.14d (9a); the hardest climb achieved by a Female Worldwide. She is also the first North American Woman to onsight 5.14a (8b+).

Honnold is known for his free solo climbs; he climbs without a rope. He has broken a number of speed records, most notably the only known solo climb of the Yosemite Triple crown, an 18-hour, 50 minute link up of Mount Watkins, The Nose, and the Regular Northwest Face of Half Dome.

The first episode of this docu-series features Caldwell and also shows Leto learning how to jumar, an ascending device, for the first time. Here we learn about Caldwell’s background and why he loves rock climbing and the National Parks so much. Episode two features a climb at Sharkstooth in Colorado’s Rocky Mountain Nation Park. This episode features Renan. Episode three features Caldwell and showcases the crew’s climb on Matthes Crest and Cathedral Peak in Yosemite National Park. Episode four features “The Wolfman” Douglas Smith and gives a tour of the Lamer Valley in Yellowstone National Park. Here we get to see majestic wildlife like wolves, bison and buffalo.

Episode five is not yet available for streaming on Youtube yet. Episodes one through four are available on Leto’s Youtube channel.

The documentary as a whole captures some really beautiful images/footage of our nation’s National Parks. It’s very celestial-like. When watching the series you feel like you are on an entirely different planet. The use of time-lapse in this docu-series really helps showcase the beauty of the parks throughout the day. A glimpse of the DC Comic inspired movie Suicide Squad was shown in one of the new movie promos ads that aired during Game 3 of the NBA Finals Wednesday night. We are ready for the release and you should be too!

Suicide Squad is set for release on August 5th through Warner Bros. and will be directed by David Ayer. Actors, Will Smith and Jared Leto both will star in the movie. Smith, someone who is used to playing the hero, will play the villian Deadshot. Leto will bring to life the role of one of the most infamous DC comic characters, The Joker. “The only villain who may be more infamous is the Devil,” Ayers said.

Adding more anticipation, Rick Ross and Skrillex will collaborate on a track which will be included on the soundtrack for the film. The track will also feature a cameo from Leto’s character in the music video.

Synopsis:

It feels good to be bad. Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer, Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying or decide it’s every man for himself?

It’s not everyday that Ellen gets to hang out with the 6 God, Drake, so of course, she made the best of it when he stopped by the show this week. The episode, which will air this afternoon, is hilarious from the clips we have seen.

Drake stops by the show to discuss the recent release of VIEWS, hosting SNL and more. Ellen, of course, uses this opportunity to scare the living s**t out of Drake and play a game of “Never Have I Ever.” These two aspects make for one of the funniest “Ellen” episodes. Check out the video of Drake being scared half to death:

Jared Leto joins Drake for the game of “Never Have I Ever” and Ellen asks them questions like:
-Have you ever hooked up with a fan on tour?

-Have you ever sext the wrong person?

And so many other hilarious questions that will make you realize how normal celebrities actually are. Watch them play the game below:

Such a great episode and one of the best moments is when Drake talks about hosting SNL:

“It’s one of the most intense talent gauntlets I’ve ever been put through,” he said. “It really is something you only understand if you’ve experienced it.”

Keeping the momentum going, Oscar winning rapper Common recently signed on to play in the upcoming villain driven movie, Suicide Squad. The comic-turned-movie is filled with such stars as Will Smith (Deadshot), Jared Leto (The Joker), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), and Viola Davis (Amanda Waller). No news on Common’s role in the film as of yet. Suicide Squad is projected to be released in 2016.
