“Come Close” is the latest single from Jai Slowed Down, produced by Reter Beats, who Jai signed to his label “Lazy Middle Finger.” Jai wrote the record in just two hours and later recorded it in his favorite hotel, “Tampa Stadium.” Here’s what the rising artist had to say about the song;

“What inspired me to write this song was just being around different people and experiencing different things each day. Even simple things such as eating my favorite foods help me bring my ideas to records. This track in particular is one of my more lyrical songs. I was born in ’93 so you don’t really hear music like this anymore. — It took me about 7 years to realize music is my real passion. But I know, with my content I can relate to many people, so I so much I still want to say. I can put out about 10 albums with all the material I have recorded. “Come Close” is also dedicated to my City of Tampa. My City needs a resurgence in Hip-Hop, and I’m hoping to bring that and be remembered. This is only the beginning.”
